Samburu County

The Samburu people of northern and central Kenya live with and unbreakable bond to the land and the animals they raise. Moving with the rhythm of the season, they are dedicated pastoralists, caring for cattle, as well as sheep, goats and camels.

The Smaburu live much like their ancestors, cherishing their culture and proudly wearing their traditional beadwork and clothing.

This collection of stills is from my few days in Samburu county learning and exploring this remarkable area with the guidance of a local Samburu friend, Moses.
